I bought this game digitally on my switch the day it came out and 30+ hours in I’m close to completing the game. The 3DS is discontinued, so most of the kids playing this game will have never played any games on that console. But that is a 6 year old game and at a premium price, they could have made some improvements on a switch port. For people that are saying this is just like the 3DS version – I don’t doubt that. Was really a waste of money for this house. No magical worlds have been ventured to yet, so it now sits on a shelf. Anyway, they have both loaded it up to play several times and haven’t been able to leave the beginning area. For the age range this is geared towards. I get bored with it as an adult, and the 5 year old can’t read that much or those big of words yet. There is A LOT of reading involved in this game. Only then will it let you back out by hitting B multiple times.

So you need to put the same outfit on which has no visual change for the kids. Example – they want you to change your outfit.īut you only have one outfit.

They aren’t intuitive and my 8 year old often has to ask for help to do what they want her to and then to get out of the screen.

The 8 year old is pretty good with games (she beat Miitopia on her own with no help what so ever) The 5 year old is just learning how to read in school. For the age range this is geared towards, it isn’t great.
